Go creative! - the Zollverein School of Management and Design at the World MBA Tour
Creativity is a central factor in entrepreneurial success: creative brains develop successful strategies and change organisational processes. Innovative product ideas and imaginative communication are decisive when it comes to successful business management. In the MBA programme, the Zollverein School of Management and Design therefore consistently combines management skills with design expertise. At the World MBA Tour in Amsterdam (6th March) and London (9th March) young professionals will have the opportunity to find out about the MBA degree courses at the Zollverein School which are unique within Europe.
Every year in March at the Zollverein School a part-time employment-lined Executive MBA starts for students. Furthermore, in September 2006 for the first time, an international fulltime MBA will be on offer.
The degree courses of the Zollverein School are aimed at future management staff who initiate creative processes and who develop solutions for the successful communication of companies and their products. The aim of the Zollverein School is to spur and promote contemporary management styles and corporate strategies by means of the close combination of design and management skills.
The Zollverein School was founded in 2002 by its president Prof. Dr. Ralph Bruder and is located within the grounds of the global cultural heritage "Zollverein" in Essen. The former colliery is currently being converted into a centre for design and cultural economics. In the summer of 2006, the school will move to a new building within the colliery designed by the Japanese architects' office SANAA.
