  The Zollverein School of Management and Design launches
its MBA program with the 'Business Design' Base Camp


From November 10-13, 2004 the Zollverein School of Management and Design is offering an intensive seminar for managers in design companies and self-employed professionals in the creative field. Internationally- respected speakers such as Christoph Böninger (Managing Director of designafairs, Munich), Kay Pawlik (Managing Director of ERCO Leuchten GmbH, Lüdenscheid),
Prof. Dr. Franz Liebl (Chair of Strategic Marketing at the University of Witten/Herdecke, Witten) will teach the fundamentals of design and business.

Design as a leadership task for decision-makers in business, science, culture and politics: The new Zollverein School of Management and Design integratively combines both disciplines and offers creative professionals and managers the opportunity to gain insights into each other's area of expertise.
From November 10-13, managers in design companies and self-employed professionals in the creative field will have the opportunity to expand their skills: The four-day 'Business Design' Base Camp provides an introduction to economics and management theory and teaches the fundamentals of strategic management, marketing, cost and revenue management, investment and financing, design law, as well as presentation and communication. In addition, there is the option of receiving individual career counseling from experts in the design business. Attendees of this intensive course in the English and German languages will receive a certificate of participation. The Camp fee is € 1,500 including lunch and beverages during the breaks. The registration deadline is October 15, 2004.
